According to Pars Today, part of the first message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has been republished and has drawn the attention of audiences.

Dear warrior brothers! The will of the masses of the people is to continue effective and deterrent defense. Also, certainly, the leverage of keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed must continue to be used. | March 12, 2026

The reposting of part of the Leader’s statements comes as the Naval Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on its social media account: 

“The Strait of Hormuz will never return to its previous state; especially for America and Israel. The IRGC Navy is completing the operational preparations for the plan communicated by Iranian officials for a new order in the Persian Gulf.”
