Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Zionist regime’s move to appoint a diplomatic envoy in Somaliland is a clear indication of its plot to create instability and division among Islamic and regional countries.
According to Pars Today, Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, emphasized that this unilateral action by the Zionist regime is in explicit contradiction with the UN Charter and international law, and constitutes a violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of an independent country.
He also reminded the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the African Union, and all countries of their responsibility to confront the lawlessness, expansionism, and interference of the Zionist regime in the internal affairs of other nations.
In recent days, the African Union and more than ten Islamic and Arab countries have condemned the Zionist regime’s move to appoint an ambassador to the “Somaliland” region in northwestern Somalia.
