Pars Today – During a meeting with foreign ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Tehran, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister stated that Iran has submitted a proposal to Pakistan aimed at securing a permanent end to the imposed war. He emphasized that it is now up to the United States to decide between the path of diplomacy or a continued policy of confrontation.
According to Pars Today, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, briefed foreign diplomats on Saturday regarding Tehran’s latest initiative to halt American and Zionist aggression against Iran.
In this meeting, Gharibabadi emphasized that while the Islamic Republic of Iran remains fully and resolutely prepared to repel any aggression against its territory and people, it has always believed in diplomacy based on mutual interests to resolve existing issues and has played its part in this regard.
He stated: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has presented its proposal aimed at a permanent end to the ‘imposed war’ to Pakistan, acting as a mediator. Now, the ball is in America’s court to choose the path of diplomacy or the continuation of a confrontational approach.”
