Qalibaf: There is no barrier to Iran’s progress, national dignity

Pars Today – Following the championship victory of Iran’s national youth weightlifting team in Egypt, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament wrote in a message: There is no barrier standing in the way of our progress and national dignity.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, wrote in a message on Friday night: The championship of Iran’s national youth weightlifting team and the raising of the proud flag of the Islamic Republic in the World Youth Championships was joyful and fortunate news that brought encouragement and happiness to the honorable people of Iran in these sensitive days.

He emphasized: The champions of Iran, who had faced some difficulties due to the attacks of the country’s enemies, proved once again through their victory that there is no barrier to Iran’s progress and national dignity. He added that a combination of expertise and commitment, alongside youthful energy and scientific management, can conquer peaks of honor through the steps of Iranian youth and make Iran’s national anthem resonate across the world.

Qalibaf stated: This championship is not a coincidence, but the result of a planned path and approach, which reflects the high human and managerial capacities in our beloved Iran. It is an approach that can be applied in all fields and, like Iran’s brave, ethical, and courageous athletes, can bring increasing pride and dignity to the noble nation of Iran under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, in all arenas.

Iran’s national team secured first place at the 2026 World Youth Weightlifting Championships with 6 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 1 bronze.
