Baqaei: Araghchi to attend BRICS meeting in India

Pars Today — The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced that Abbas Araghchi will participate in the upcoming BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting.

According to Pars Today, Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, told India Today Global that Abbas Araghchi plans to attend the important BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting.

Baqaei stated that Iran and India are both members of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, adding that the two countries maintain a good level of cooperation and coordination within both organizations.

He added: “This meeting is important for us as well, and we are looking forward to bilateral meetings with other ministers participating in the event, including the foreign minister of India as a friendly country.”
