Iran condemns assassination of Qassam Brigades commander Izz al-Din Haddad

Pars Today – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement strongly condemning a terrorist act by the brutal Zionist regime in the assassination of Izz al-Din Haddad, the commander-in-chief of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

According to Pars Today, the statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that the cowardly assassination of Palestinian leaders and elites is a clear sign of the desperation and helplessness of a regime that, despite committing the most horrific crimes and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people over the past eight decades, has failed to extinguish the spirit of resistance against occupation, apartheid, and harsh colonialism in the hearts and minds of the Palestinian people. It added that Palestinians are more determined than ever to continue their struggle to achieve their legitimate rights, especially the right to self-determination.

The statement further emphasized that the physical elimination of resistance commanders and Palestinian elites will not only fail to weaken the ideology and path of resistance, but will instead serve as an inspiration for those who continue the struggle for the dignity and freedom of Palestine.
