Foolad Sirjan Iranian finishes runner-up in Asian Volleyball Championship

Pars Today – Iran’s volleyball team Foolad Sirjan Iranian claimed the silver medal in the Asian Club Championship after losing in the final match.

According to Pars Today, the Iranian team—having already secured qualification for the Club World Championship by reaching the final—faced the strong Indonesian host team Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in Jakarta. Backed by a full home crowd, the Iranian side lost 3–1.

Foolad Sirjan won the second set 26–24, but dropped the first, third, and fourth sets with scores of 25–20, 25–23, and 25–23 respectively, finishing as runners-up and earning the silver medal of the competition in the Asian Club Volleyball Championship.
