Asian Para Taekwondo Championships: Iran’s medal count in Mongolia reaches double digits

Pars Today – Iran’s national para taekwondo team won 10 colorful medals at the 11th Asian Para Taekwondo Championships.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the 11th Asian Para Taekwondo Championships were held on Monday (May 25) for one day at the “M Bank” Hall in Ulaanbaatar, with the participation of 104 athletes competing across various weight categories.

Mohammad Taha Hassanpour, Abolfazl Imani, Saeed Sadeghianpour, Amirhossein Alizadeh, Amirmohammad Haghighat-Shenas, Mehdi Pourrahnama, Alireza Bakht, Hamed Hagh-Shenas, Aylar Jami, Narges Javadi, Zahra Rahimi, Parimah Tourani, and Romina Chamsorki represented Iran, with the team securing a total of 10 medals.

For Iran’s national para taekwondo team, in both the men’s and women’s divisions, Alireza Bakht, Amirmohammad Haghighat-Shenas, and Mohammad Taha Hassanpour won three gold medals. Zahra Rahimi and Saeed Sadeghianpour earned two silver medals, while five bronze medals were claimed by Hamed Hagh-Shenas, Mehdi Pourrahnama, Aylar Jami, Parimah Tourani, and Romina Chamsorki.
