Ayatollah Khatami: Enemies will take their wish of fatiguing Iranian people to grave / The Trump gene is a gene of lying

Pars Today – Tehran's Interim Friday Prayer Leader has said that the enemies wish for the fatigue of the Iranian nation, but by the grace of God, they will take that wish to the grave.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayer Leader, said in his Eid al-Adha sermon, which was held with the presence of worshippers at the University of Tehran on Wednesday, that the clearest example of piety in the present era is resistance and indefatigability on the path of truth and righteousness. He stated: "This very act that the Iranian people have carried out for 87 nights and will continue until final victory is a clear example of piety."

Khatami said: "The enemies wish for you, the people of Iran, to become fatigued, but by the grace of God, they will take that wish to the grave. This nation exhausts fatigue itself, but it will not become exhausted."

Ayatollah Khatami then cited a narration from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who said, "Whoever submits to humiliation is not one of us," explaining in this regard: "Accepting humiliation is not only reprehensible but is among the highest moral vices. Your enemies, especially the inhabitants of that black house that is wrongly called the 'White House,' wish for the humiliation of the Iranian nation, but they will take this wish with them to the grave."

He described the United States as a liar of rare caliber in history and said: "The enemy must once speak the truth so the world can see whether he knows the way and manner of truthfulness or not. The Trump gene is a gene of lying, and in negotiations (both in the first round and the second round) he has always come with deceit and lies. The enemy's goal is not negotiations but the submission of the Iranian nation. As the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said in his recent message to the pilgrims: 'The Iranian nation has thwarted the enemy in its attempt to subdue this land.'"

Ayatollah Khatami stated: "Another point that should not be passed by lightly is the epic of the 'Freedom Flotilla' that gathered from all over the world to support the oppressed people of Gaza. This movement demonstrated two things. The first sign that this epic showed to the world is the living conscience of humanity. They launched this flotilla even though they knew the Zionist regime would deal with them criminally, and this is a virtue. Supporting the oppressed is a virtue, even if one is not a Muslim."

He said: "The other sign was one that showed the peak of vileness, criminality, and brutality of the murderous and illegitimate Zionist regime. This peak of vileness is imprinted on the foreheads of both the Zionists and the criminal Trump, who supports this child-killing murderer."
