Pars Today – The Director General of Customs of Zanjan Province in northwestern Iran has announced the export of $80 million worth of goods from this province to 18 countries in the first two months of the current year.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Zeinolabedin Ganjkhanloo, the Director General of Customs of Zanjan Province, said on Thursday that 90,000 tons of goods worth $80 million were exported from this province to 18 countries in the first two months of the year 1405 (Iranian calendar) and stated: With the implementation of approved regulations and the facilitation of customs processes, a platform has been provided for production units to clear their raw materials and machinery without waiting in line for the Central Bank's currency allocation. He noted that the majority of Zanjan's exports during this period were to Turkey, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Russia.
Zeinolabedin Ganjkhanloo attributed this volume of exports to the efforts and foreign currency earnings of 50 production and industrial units in Zanjan Province and added: The main exported goods included strategic equipment such as transformers, metal profiles, zinc ingots, wire rods, fluting paper, and polypropylene film.
