Pars Today – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that, in response to the U.S.-Israeli attack on an Iranian petrochemical facility, it launched a missile strike on similar facilities in Haifa early Monday morning.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, the IRGC stated:

"With the help of Almighty God, the fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force targeted similar petrochemical facilities in Haifa with missile strikes in response to the aggression of the U.S.-Zionist enemy against one of our petrochemical industries."

The full statement issued by the IRGC Public Relations Department reads:

"With the help of Almighty God, the fighters of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in response to the aggression of the U.S.-Zionist enemy against one of our petrochemical facilities, targeted similar facilities in Haifa with missile strikes a few moments ago.

We warn that by taking action against civilian targets and targeting oil and energy industries, the Zionist enemy has initiated a dangerous game whose scope will extend to all energy-related targets across the region. Responsibility for the consequences this may have on the global economy rests with the primary instigator of this conflict—the United States."
