Pars Today – The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have carried out attacks on U.S. bases in the region.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that, in response to the aggression by the terrorist U.S. military in parts of southern Iran under the pretext of its helicopter crash, several U.S. bases in the region were targeted in a powerful assault by the heroic Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brave fighters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The headquarters further stressed that the criminal U.S. military should understand that if any further aggression is carried out against the Islamic Republic of Iran, even heavier and more extensive attacks will be launched against a designated list of targets across the region.

In a separate statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the war-mongering U.S. regime launched attacks early Wednesday on several locations in Jask, Sirik, and Qeshm in southern Iran under false pretexts. The attacks reportedly damaged a telecommunications tower in Sirik and destroyed two water reservoirs in the Bamani district of the county. In response to the enemy’s hostile action, the IRGC Navy carried out a drone strike against the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

In another statement, the IRGC announced that, due to the continuation of the enemy’s hostile actions, its Aerospace Force completed a retaliatory operation by targeting and destroying four key objectives with its long-range solid-fuel missiles, including shelters for F-35 fighter jets at an air base and the command-and-control center of the U.S. military in Azraq, Jordan.

Meanwhile, as part of ongoing operations in response to provocations and harassment by the U.S. military against residents of southern Iran, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a wave of drone attacks early Wednesday against U.S. bases and radar systems associated with the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
