Pars Today – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on social media that if all provisions of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding are properly implemented, it could be regarded as a source of pride for Iran.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on the social media platform X on Monday night that following intensive discussions, the overwhelming majority of members of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council supported the text of the memorandum, allowing the United States’ genuine commitment to respecting the rights of the Iranian people to be tested in practice.
The Iranian president noted that the drafted memorandum is the result of months of negotiations and continuous efforts in this regard, adding that if all of its provisions are properly implemented, it could be considered a proud document for Iran.
Pezeshkian added that the guidance of Iran’s Leader played the greatest role in incorporating clauses safeguarding Iran’s national interests, for which, he said, the country is grateful.
