Pars Today – More than 500 Sunni scholars from Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan have issued a statement declaring that "it is evident to every awakened mind that global arrogance, led by the United States, is the principal source of corruption, terrorism, and the oppression of vulnerable nations around the world."

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the statement said:

"We believe that the slogan 'Death to America' is not merely an expression of condemnation. Rather, it represents the continuation of the Qur'anic path and a contemporary manifestation of God's condemnation and disavowal of the Pharaohs, Nimrods, disbelievers, and hypocrites of past nations."

The Sunni scholars of Sistan and Baluchestan also stated that the Islamic Resistance in southern Lebanon and Hezbollah fighters are the front line in defending the dignity, honor, and integrity of the Muslim Ummah against the Zionist cancer.

The statement added:

"We declare that supporting this authentic and self-sacrificing movement is not merely a tactical choice, but a strategic and religious duty for the Islamic Republic of Iran and for all freedom-seeking people around the world. Weakening the front line of the resistance would mean allowing the enemy to advance toward the frontiers of the Islamic world."
