Pars Today — Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the United States seeks to demonstrate its power through war crimes and the killing of innocent people.
According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei shared images of the eight people martyred in the U.S. attacks on Hormozgan Province in southern Iran on July 17 and wrote on his personal page:
“This is how the United States attempts to showcase its so-called “strength”: by attacking civilian infrastructure and killing civilians. Last night, in its unlawful attacks on Hormuzgan Province, the US committed another blatant war crime by targeting bridges and murdering eight innocent Iranians — four men and four women — including two brothers with disabilities.”
He added: “The Iranian people are now more determined and united than ever, fully resolved to make their savage enemies bitterly regret this criminal aggression against their beloved homeland.”
