Pars Today — The political, security, and social deputy governor of Hormozgan Province in southern Iran has announced that three people were martyred and eight others injured following U.S. attacks on several areas of the province.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Ahmad Nafisi, the political, security, and social deputy governor of Hormozgan, provided an update on the latest developments regarding the U.S. military strikes, saying that, based on preliminary reports, the attacks have so far left three people martyred and eight wounded.

Nafisi also reported that several missiles struck power facilities and desalination pumps located at the pier in the village of Bonji in Jask County.

He added that emergency responders and operational teams are present at the scene and that initial assessments are underway to determine the extent of the damage and the impact of the attack. Efforts have also begun to stabilize the region’s drinking water supply.

Describing the strike as a blatant violation of international law and a clear example of an American war crime, Nafisi said that the attack on the water facilities had disrupted the drinking water supply to several villages in western Jask County.
