Iran's U-20 women's team defeats Kyrgyzstan at CAFA Championship

Pars Today – Iran's U-20 women's national football team defeated Kyrgyzstan in its third match of the 2026 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Iran's U-20 women's team defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-1 in its third match of the tournament.

Coached by Maryam Jahannejati, the Iranian side entered the competition aiming to gain valuable experience while delivering a strong performance. In their opening match, they faced hosts Tajikistan and secured an exciting 3-2 victory.

In their second fixture, Iran took on Uzbekistan. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, allowing the Iranian team to maintain its unbeaten record in the tournament with one win and one draw before defeating Kyrgyzstan.
