Pars Today – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), emphasizing that development activities continued despite wartime conditions, said that one offshore platform was installed during this period and Iran’s oil exports continued without interruption.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Hamid Bovard highlighted the simultaneous continuation of production at South Pars gas platforms, major maintenance operations, and the safe removal of debris from damaged Iranian refineries. He described the efforts of personnel at Pars Oil and Gas Company in this field as remarkable.

Bovard said that, drawing on valuable experience gained from rebuilding the Phase 14 refinery, which was damaged during the 12-day war, Pars Oil and Gas Company has also begun the reconstruction of refineries damaged in the third imposed war with maximum effort.

Referring to the sensitive conditions facing the oil industry during wartime and the importance of protecting data and providing information appropriately, the NIOC CEO said that the company’s silence regarding activities carried out during this period was “a fully strategic decision based on national interests.”

He stated that the continuation of oil and gas production, management of operational areas, dozens of offshore platforms, industrial units, and oil and gas facilities demonstrated the Iranian oil industry’s strong capability in crisis management.

Bovard stressed again that development projects did not stop during the war, saying: “During this period, one of the offshore platforms was installed, and oil exports continued without interruption.”

He added that employees across all sectors competed with one another to fulfill their responsibilities toward the country, and that this spirit of sacrifice, commitment, and responsibility enabled Iran’s oil industry to carry out its mission under the most difficult conditions and keep the country on the path of production, development, and sustainable energy supply.
