Iranian MP: Trump, Republicans will suffer a major Defeat

Pars Today – A member of Iran’s Parliament said that Iran, by adopting an active stance and pursuing strategic planning in the political and military spheres, will inflict a major defeat on U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republicans.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Manouchehr Mottaki said on Iran’s national television on Saturday night that Iran is recognized as a leading power in the region and, relying on its capabilities, is prepared to confront any threats.

Emphasizing that the United States is not seeking war but rather deception and staged negotiations, Mottaki added that the U.S. failed to achieve its objectives during the 40-day war and is now facing a strategic defeat. He said Iran, through wisdom and careful planning, can impose a major defeat on Trump and the Republicans.

Referring to Iran’s missile and defense capabilities, Mottaki said Iran’s armed forces are standing firmly against any aggression and that the enemy knows any attack on Iran would be met with a “crushing and regret-inducing response.”

He added that the United States fears Iran’s regional power and understands that Iran, relying on its domestic capabilities and public support, can defend its interests under any circumstances. He also stated that the Strait of Hormuz is under Iran’s full control, describing it as a demonstration of Iran’s strategic power to the world.

The Iranian lawmaker also referred to the role of regional countries in the current situation, saying: “The Persian Gulf states should recognize that the game is over and that the United States has failed to support them. These countries should move toward the new realities of the region and stop aligning themselves with America’s failed policies.”

Mottaki further stressed that Iran, relying on its domestic strength and public support, is capable of overcoming any threat. He added that Iran’s adversaries should understand that any hostile action against Iran would be met with a stronger and more decisive response.

He said that Iranians, through unity and solidarity, will defend their country and will not allow any power to undermine their national interests.
