Pezeshkian: Iran’s future will be determined by Iranian people

Pars Today – Iran’s President said that throughout all these difficult days, the real heroes have been the people, adding that the future of Iran will be determined by the Iranian people.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, wrote in a post on the social media platform X:

“Two years ago (July 30, 2024), the beginning of our administration coincided with the assassination of our dear guest by the Zionist regime; two years during which imposed wars, pressures, and continuous hostilities were inflicted upon the people of Iran.”

He added, “Throughout all these difficult days, the real heroes were the people. The future of Iran will be determined by the Iranian people.”

The inauguration ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian was held on July 30, 2024 in the open session of Iran’s Parliament, attended by more than 70 foreign delegations, including presidents, prime ministers, parliament speakers, vice presidents, deputy prime ministers, foreign ministers, ambassadors, and representatives of international and regional organizations.

During the ceremony, Pezeshkian took the oath of office as the ninth president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
