Economy minister: Enemies to take dream of crippling Iran’s economy to graves

Pars Today – Iran’s Economy Minister said that just as the country’s adversaries failed to achieve their goals in the military arena, they will also fail in the economic war and will take their dream of crippling Iran’s economy to their graves.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Seyed Ali Madani-Zadeh, Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, said in remarks on Monday night that Iran’s adversaries have acknowledged that, in addition to military warfare and cyberattacks, they have also designed and implemented an economic war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He said this demonstrates that they are targeting not only people’s lives but also the country’s livelihoods and economy.

The Economy Minister emphasized the role of the Iranian people in defeating enemy plans, saying: “The Iranian nation is a nation of resistance, and just as its presence and perseverance prevented the enemy from achieving its objectives in the military war, it will also thwart their economic plans through resistance and cooperation.”

He added that, in addition to relying on economic resistance, the Iranian government has prepared plans for the post-war period and is pursuing opportunities for investment in the reconstruction and modernization of Iran.

Madani-Zadeh stressed the full readiness of Iran’s economic team, saying that specific long-term plans have been developed to confront all possible economic scenarios from the country’s adversaries, and that people should have no concerns in this regard.

He further noted that for every plan designed by the enemy against Iran’s economy, countermeasures and response plans have been prepared, and the government will not allow their objectives to be achieved.
