Leader casts vote in parliamentary, Assembly of Experts elections

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei cast his vote in the early hours of the parliamentary and assembly of experts elections in Iran on Friday.

Ayatollah Khamenei cast his vote at the late Imam Khomeini mosque in Tehran at 8:00 am (local time), Fars news agency reported.

In his speeches in recent weeks, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the Iranian nation would display its strong will and determination to the enemies by its high turnout in the parliamentary and assembly of experts elections on Friday.

Iranians on Friday began voting in the country's 10th parliamentary and 5th assembly of experts elections.
