Vienna keen on promoting relations with Tehran
Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, in a meeting with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, said Vienna attaches great importance to relations with Tehran, and is determined to have broader relations with the West Asian country.
Austrian diplomat made the remarks in his Monday meeting in Vienna, where Araqchi referred to the recent developments in the West Asia, saying the destructive policies taken by Israel are the main cause of instability in the region.
Addressing a meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, Abbas Araqchi appreciated the supportive positions of Austria as regard with Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
He also stressed the importance of implementing the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and paving the way for Iran to take advantage of the economic dividends stipulated in the nuclear agreement of July 14, 2015.
Meanwhile, Kneissl pointed to the importance of relations between Tehran and Vienna, underlining the continuation of political consultations aiming to establish peace and stability in the region.
In the meeting both sides discussed the latest conditions of the SPV, European countries' efforts to maintain JCPOA and the regional developments in Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen.
