Pars Today- Advisor of Iran's president in the clerical affairs said, "If we are looking for materialization of a Qur'anic ruler, we had better to have a look at and review the martyred president."

According to Pars Today quoting from Mehr news agency, Hojjat-ol-Islam Mohammad Haj Abulqasem, advisor of the president for clerical affairs and seminaries, speaking in the ceremony for martyr Raeisi and his companions on behalf of the Qur'anic community, expressed his condolences and said, "Our president was really Qur'anic and this [his martyrdom] is a loss for our Qur'anic community in this regard."

Describing martyr Raeisi as a man interested in the Qur'an and with close bond with it, he added, "During the president's last provincial trip to Mazandaran province, Ayatollah Raeisi had arrived at the airport a few minutes earlier than the accompanying delegation. When I entered the airport and sat beside him, I noticed that he was reading the Qur'an. He used to recite chapters Yasin, Saffat and Molk in a beautiful tone. In the UN, too, we all saw how he supported the status of the Qur'an. Perhaps, he was the only president in the UN history who had gained this honor and his picture with the Qur'an in his hand became perpetual on media."

The presidential advisor, referring to martyr Raeisi's intense effort to promote Qur'anic activities, continued, "We had hardly seen a president who took part in the council of expansion of Qur'anic culture to hold the council personally."

Haj Abulqasem said that the main part of his Qur'anic identity should be pursued in analyzing his practical practice and added, "If we are looking for personification of a Qur'anic ruler, we had better to have a look at and review the martyred president."

Pointing to God's introducing of ideal rulers, he said, "Prophet Solomon, Prophet Joseph and Dhu al-Qarnayn were all Almighty God's ideal rulers. Then [God] says that all of them had a roadmap and were exemplary per se. They had all features and, while being sincere, they enjoyed good morals."

Abulqasem then referred to verse 54 of chapter Al-Maidah, and stated, "This verse has 6 features which can be considered as a set of all characteristics of an ideal ruler. The first characteristic is his love for the Almighty God and Almighty God's love for him. Materialistic motives are weak in divine rulers and a Qur'anic ruler does his best to attain God's satisfaction. God says in this verse, 'O you who have faith! Should any of you desert his religion, God will soon bring a people whom He loves and they love Him. They are humble towards the faithful [but] harsh with the faithless. They wage jihad (struggle) in the way of God while do not fear the blame of blamers. This is the grace of God which He grants it to whomever He wishes and God is all-Bounteous, all-Knowing.'"

Haj Abulqasem made it clear, "Our president loved God and, had he not been in communion with God, he couldn't have been able to work for people round-the-clock. The success of Operation True Promise was also indebted to our dear president's all-out support for this operation. His inexhaustible effort and jihadi spirit was amazing for me."
