Terrorists positions razed by Syrian Army in Kabani

The Syrian Air Force and artillery units pounded the terrorists' positions inside the strategic town of Kabani in rugged areas of northern regions of Lattakia Province, as they prepare to retake the town from the terrorist groups.

“Several positions of militant groups across Kabani were razed by the Syrian Army’s airstrikes, as the artillery units pounded the terrorists' positions inside the town and in nearby areas,” a military source said Sunday.

Reports said that scores of terrorists were killed and wounded in the Syrian air and artillery attacks which also led to heavy damage on the terrorist groups.

Military sources said recently that the Syrian army and its allies have made significant advances against the terrorist groups in northeastern Lattakia and are preparing to launch a large-scale offensive on the Takfiri terrorists' positions to end militancy at Lattakia-Idlib border

"The terrorists groups of al-Nusra Front and al-Turkistani have suffered a heavy death toll in the offensives in the mountainous battlefields of the province," the sources added.

"Recapture of Kabani will result in the liberation of large regions in al-Ghab plain and the strategic city of Jisr al-Shoughor in Idlib Province," they further added.
