Terrorists using Aleppo residents as human shields
Terrorists are using civilians as human shields to slow down the advances of Syrian forces in the terrorist-held parts of Aleppo as part a larger liberation in the northwestern city.
According to Press TV, the foreign-sponsored terrorists prevent Aleppo residents from passing through the humanitarian corridors, which were recently set up by the Syrian army to guarantee a safe exit.
Not many people have been able to leave the terrorist-controlled areas of Aleppo so far.
Last week, the Syrian government, backed by Russia, launched a large-scale humanitarian relief operation in Aleppo and created corridors providing civilians and the militants, who chose to surrender, the opportunity to leave the city.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad also vowed amnesty for militants who lay down their arms.
Elsewhere, the report said that the Syrian forces are tightening the noose on the terrorists, with Syrian warplanes targeting the positions held by the Takfiri elements.
The airstrikes come amid heavy clashes between the government troops and the militants, it added.
Terrorists are isolated in eastern Aleppo, with all their supply line cut off. They cannot receive weapons and are not able to get their injured elements out, the report further noted.
