  • Yemeni activist: Bushnell is our hero and the US regime is an enemy

Social media activist, Mustafa al-Khatib in a post on his X social media network account has mentioned about the hoisting of Aaron Bushnell’s poster in the capital of Yemen.

Al-Khatib posted the picture of the poster in his post and said:

The picture of the hero Aaron Bushnell got hoisted in our dear capital Sanaa, the capital of humanity and dignity.

Look, we aren’t hiding it from anyone. America’s still our enemy, but our stance towards free folk is way different from their government’s policies.

#FreePalestine

Bushnell’s last words are written below his poster raised in Sanaa.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide…..freedom for Palestine….. US soldier, Aaron Bushnell”

Shortly after posting this picture, the X social media network blocked his account.

The 25-year-old airman was dressed in US military attire on February 25 as he used a lighter to set himself on fire after dousing himself in a flammable liquid.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest, but compared to what people are experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all,” he said in a video he made while walking in front of the embassy.

“This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal. Free Palestine.”
