The official Iraqi news agency reported that Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani congratulated Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian on his election victory and invited him to visit Baghdad. 

Liberman: Israel's deterrent power has reached zero

Palestinian media reported that Avigdor Liberman, a member of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) and former war minister of the Zionist regime, strongly criticized the regime's performance in the war against Gaza, citing a significant decline in its deterrent power. Liberman added that the Israeli army has used all its capabilities and that Israel's deterrent power has reached zero; Israel has not learned any lessons from the October 7 war. 

Unprecedented budget deficit of Zionist regime

The Israeli website Yedioth Ahronoth, citing a report from the Israeli Ministry of Finance, reported that the budget deficit of the Israeli regime has reached $39.5 billion in the past year, the highest in two decades. The budget deficit is increasing due to the costly and ongoing war in Gaza. 

Muqtada al-Sadr's call to his supporters: Raise Palestinian flag in your Hussaini Mowkibs

According to Sumaria News, Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Iraqi Sadrist movement, called on his supporters to raise the Palestinian flag during the mourning ceremonies of the first ten days of Muharram and Arbaeen, and to remember the oppressed Palestinian people.

Sadr added: The innocence of the Palestinian people is inspired by the innocence of Imam Hussein (PBUH), Shia Muslims’ third Imam.

Haniyeh’s congratulatory message to Iran's president-elect

Palestinian media announced that Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), sent a message to Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran's president-elect, congratulating him on the successful presidential election and his election as the new president.  

Haniyeh in this message emphasized that the Palestinian people are confident in his abilities to serve Iran, overcome all challenges and difficulties, and move towards the unity of the Islamic Ummah against its enemies, as well as to support the Palestinian cause, which is the primary issue of the Islamic world. 

Israeli attack on Syria

A military source told the Syrian official news agency (SANA) that the Israeli regime launched an attack from the Mediterranean Sea on a target near the city of Baniyas in Syria, causing only material damage.

Rift widening in Tel Aviv cabinet

The Hebrew-language website Walla reported that Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a request from Itamar Ben-Gvir, the head of the Otzma Yehudit party and Israeli minister of internal security, to join the Israeli war cabinet, and instead suggested that Ben-Gvir propose important security measures before submitting them to the cabinet for a vote.

Joint drone attack by Yemen and Iraqi resistance on Eilat port

According to Al-Masirah, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, said that in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the Israeli regime's crimes against the people of Gaza, the Yemeni armed forces, in coordination with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, launched a joint drone attack on a vital target in the Eilat port in occupied Palestine, successfully hitting their targets.
