Jenin mayor: Israeli regime seeks to forcefully displace Palestinians
Pars Today - The mayor of Jenin stated that the goal of the Zionist regime's attack on the West Bank is to pressure Palestinians into forced displacement.
The Zionist regime has launched its largest attack on the West Bank in two decades, focusing on the city of Jenin, surrounding villages, the Jenin refugee camp, the city of Tulkarm, the Nur Shams refugee camp, the Al-Farah refugee camp in the northern Jordan Valley, and the city of Nablus.
According to Pars Today quoting Al Jazeera, "Nidal Obaidi," the mayor of Jenin, said: "The Zionist occupiers, with the support of their international backers, are seeking to intensify their operations and crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank."
He added: "The goal of the occupiers' current operation in the West Bank is to besiege the Palestinian people and pressure them into forced displacement from their land. This is while our homeland is right here."
