Pars Today – In a strongly worded statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the Israeli regime’s attack on the residential homes of several members of Hamas’ political bureau in Doha as “criminal and cowardly,” stressing that this action constitutes a serious threat to the security of Qatar’s citizens and residents.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, in response to the Israeli regime’s attack on the residential homes of several members of Hamas’ political bureau in Doha, stated:
“This cowardly act is a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and a dangerous threat to the security and well-being of Qatari citizens and residents.”
The ministry, while strongly condemning Tel Aviv’s “reckless and adventurist behavior,” stressed:
“The State of Qatar will show no tolerance or leniency toward any actions that target the security and sovereignty of the country.”
The statement added that investigations into the dimensions of the attack are underway “at the highest level.” It was issued after media outlets reported that the Israeli regime had launched an airstrike on Hamas’ office in Doha.
According to the report, a Hamas official confirmed in an interview with Al Jazeera that members of the movement’s negotiating delegation were targeted while holding a meeting in Doha. In this assassination operation, carried out by Israeli fighter jets, 12 massive explosions took place.
Initial reports indicate that senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya was martyred.
Meanwhile, Sputnik News, citing Israeli media outlets, reported that it is estimated the attacks on Doha targeted seven senior Hamas officials: Khalil al-Hayya, Khaled Meshaal, Mousa Abu Marzouk, Zaher Jabarin, Mohammad Darwish, Hussam Badran, and Taher al-Nounou. However, Hamas has not yet confirmed this report.
Israeli regime’s attack on Doha took place with U.S. approval
