Pars Today – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stated at a ceremony marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine that the movement remains committed to the path of Martyr Nasrallah and will not relinquish its arms.

Speaking at the commemoration in Beirut on Saturday, Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "We are committed to our pledge, we will continue the path of resistance, and we will not lay down our weapons."

According to a report by Pars Today, Sheikh Naim Qassem added: "We withstood a global war in which the Zionist regime tried to put an end to the Resistance in order to pave the way for the creation of a Greater Israel."

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah said: "Following the attacks by the Zionist regime and the martyrdom of the Resistance commanders, the enemy thought we would collapse. However, by appointing new commanders for Hezbollah, we took control of affairs once again." Naim Qassem emphasized: "We are facing an enemy that is trying to end the Resistance, but it has failed to achieve its goals. The Resistance was able to stand on its own feet, and the battle continues."

"We are prepared to defend against Zionist regime's aggression"

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah also stated, "We are prepared to defend against the Zionist regime's aggression," noting: "The scenes being broadcast of the massive public presence at the anniversary commemoration for the martyrs of the resistance demonstrate the resistance's power. We have managed to remain steadfast on the battlefield and have achieved through combat what others have failed to accomplish through politics."

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, stated that the United States and the Zionist regime are a danger to Lebanon and the Resistance, affirming, "We will never permit the disarmament of the Resistance and will confront any such attempt."

He added, "We must not bow to the enemy's threats and must face them with preparedness for confrontation, not surrender." Qassem also expressed support for holding Lebanon's parliamentary elections on their scheduled date and affirmed Hezbollah's backing of the Lebanese army against the real enemy.

Regarding Palestine, Sheikh Qassem said, "The Palestine issue is the fundamental issue. The resistance forces in Gaza and Palestine are fighting the occupiers on behalf of the world, and Israel has failed to achieve its objectives for two years now."
