Zionist daily: Countering Iranian missiles becomes a dream
Pars Today – The Zionist newspaper "Globes" confirmed that countering Iranian missiles has become a dream.
According to Pars Today citing the Young Journalists Club (YJC), the Zionist daily in a sharp report, considered the failure of the “Iron Beam” laser system as a sign of a deep crisis in the Zionist regime’s air defense, stating that countering Iranian missiles is a pipe dream. It wrote that this system, which was supposed to be Tel Aviv’s response to the threat of Iran’s new-generation missiles, was also incapable of intercepting Hezbollah's drones.
Following "Wave 37" of Iran’s powerful missile attacks on Tuesday evening and the consecutive explosions across the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the bussiness daily "Globes" in an unprecedented report, strongly criticized the weak performance of the “Iron Beam” laser defense systems, which the regime had promoted as a “defensive revolution.”
The Hebrew-language daily wrote in its report: “Where is this system, which was supposed to protect the skies of Northern Occupied Palestine against the threats of new-generation missiles, in the recent war, as it played no role whatsoever?”
According to the Zionist newspaper, the laser system, which was introduced with extensive propaganda and the promise of intercepting “billions of shekels” worth of threats, in practice could not even provide an acceptable performance against Hezbollah drones, let alone Iran’s new-generation ballistic missiles, whose speed and destructive power far exceed the capabilities of this system.
