Pars Today – Despite the announced ceasefire agreement in the region, which was expected to halt attacks on Lebanon as well, Netanyahu claimed that the deal does not cover Lebanon.
According to Pars Today, Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli regime, in his first reaction to the declared ceasefire, claimed that the two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon.
This comes while earlier, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, following Iran and the United States’ agreement to a two-week ceasefire, stated in a statement: “With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.”
Netanyahu also continued his claims by saying that Tel Aviv supports Trump’s decision to suspend attacks against Iran, on the condition that Iran reopens the straits and halts its attacks.
It is worth noting that in recent hours, attacks by the Israeli regime on southern Lebanon have continued.
