Hezbollah: We will not lay down weapons

Pars Today – The Vice Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council emphasized that the issue of the resistance’s weapons is an internal matter and should not be included in negotiations with the Israeli regime.

According to Pars Today, Mahmoud Qamati, Vice Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council in Lebanon, said in an interview with Al Jazeera: “We will continue the resistance and will not accept the ongoing aggression against Lebanon.”

He added: “We support the deployment of the Lebanese army throughout the country, and the resistance has returned to the south to confront the occupiers.”

Qamati stated: “We will not lay down our weapons, and we are ready to reach an understanding with the Lebanese government on a defense strategy that protects the country against the occupiers.”

He also stressed that the Israeli regime must completely withdraw from Lebanese territory, adding that the resistance will respond to any violation of the ceasefire by the enemy.
