Iran's missile power
Pars Today – The Middle East Eye news site has written in an op-ed that Iran, by controlling the Strait of Hormuz and possessing missile capabilities, is the winner of the war.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the Middle East Eye news site reported in an op-ed by David Hearst, the site's editor-in-chief: Iran holds all the winning cards in the war, including control of the Strait of Hormuz, drone and missile capabilities, and leverage points for projecting power in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. In contrast, US President Donald Trump has no winning cards. This analysis emphasizes that contrary to initial claims, the United States has lost its sixth war in the Middle East in the last 25 years, and Iran is the winner of the war.
According to Middle East Eye, Netanyahu and the head of Mossad portrayed Iran's government as so weak that the US president came to believe that after the assassination of Iran's leader, the country's government would last only a few days. This move has been assessed as Trump's biggest strategic mistake.
The op-ed, referring to the shift in the balance of power in the region in Iran's favor, adds: Iran now possesses an advanced missile program, strong military and commercial relations with China, strengthened Palestinian resistance and Hezbollah, and complete control over the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the site, Iran has now become a model for resistance against colonial domination, and Tehran's message to the Arab world is that middle powers can prevail over the domination of the United States and the Zionist regime.
Middle East Eye has warned that Netanyahu will intensify attacks on Lebanon and Gaza to hide the catastrophic failure in Iran, but this move would amount to digging his own political grave. The Israeli regime will exit these wars without achieving any of its goals.
The op-ed concluded that the new American-Israeli order has failed, a new coalition of regional powers led by Iran is taking shape, and the Strait of Hormuz will forever remain under Iran's operational control.
