Pars Today – Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced that 14 people were martyred and 31 others injured in Israeli attacks targeting various areas of southern Lebanon on Saturday.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the casualties include two officers and one soldier from the Lebanese Army among those martyred.
The ministry also reported that an Israeli airstrike on the al-Saksakiyah area in southern Lebanon left two people martyred and 22 others wounded. Among the injured were three children and one woman.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese news network Al Mayadeen reported that Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the town of Haris in the Bint Jbeil district.
In addition, Israeli artillery shelled the towns of Jibshit and Aba in the Nabatieh district.
Field reports further indicated that the town of Deir Kifa in the Tyre district was targeted in an Israeli airstrike, resulting in at least one fatality.
Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health stated on Saturday that the martyrdom toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,593, while the number of injured has reached 10,990.
