Pars Today – The Israeli army has reported that 22 of its soldiers were killed or wounded during Thursday night’s clashes with Hezbollah resistance forces in Lebanon.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the Israeli army admitted that 17 Israeli officers and soldiers were wounded in the overnight clashes in southern Lebanon, with some suffering amputations. In addition, five soldiers, including a battalion commander, were killed after being hit by an anti-armor missile.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that Hezbollah fighters carried out a large-scale ambush and used guided missiles to destroy three Merkava tanks belonging to the Israeli army in the strategic Ali al-Taher–Kfartebnit area.
The statement added that, with dozens of enemy forces reportedly killed, Hezbollah described the operation as a “Karbala-like epic.”
