Israeli air and artillery attacks target southern Lebanon

Pars Today – News sources reported Israeli air and artillery attacks on the towns of Al-Mansouri, Burj al-Shamali, and other areas in southern Lebanon.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, the Israeli occupation army launched a new wave of air and artillery strikes early Thursday against various areas in southern Lebanon, targeting the towns of Al-Mansouri, Burj al-Shamali, Haddatha, and areas around the Ali al-Taher heights.

According to field reports, Israeli fighter jets bombed Al-Mansouri, while the Israeli artillery simultaneously resumed attacks on the Al-Mansouri communal area with heavy shelling and intense fire.

Meanwhile, the town of Burj al-Shamali in the Tyre district came under several attacks. Local sources said Israeli drones targeted an area in the town on three occasions, followed by another strike by Israeli fighter jets. In one of these attacks, a residential house was bombed again by Israeli warplanes after being targeted four times by drones.

Following the attacks, initial reports indicated that at least three people were injured. At the same time, a wave of displacement and the departure of residents from Burj al-Shamali was reported.

In other areas of southern Lebanon, Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of the Ali al-Taher heights, with the forested area of the heights again coming under artillery fire.
