Karachi students hold symbolic rally in support of Yemeni children
Pars Today – Students at the Islamic Education Centre in Karachi, Pakistan, held a symbolic rally in support of the Yemeni people, calling for an end to the blockade of the country, the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the establishment of peace and security in the region.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, the students expressed solidarity with the people of Yemen, particularly the country’s children, by holding placards and waving the flags of Pakistan, Palestine and Yemen. They called for an end to the suffering caused by war and the blockade.
The event was organized to promote empathy, social responsibility and support for the oppressed. During the educational segment, teachers referred to a saying by Imam Ali (PBUH), the first Imam of the world’s Shia Muslims, on the need to stand against oppression and support the oppressed, explaining the importance of these moral values to the students.
The students also took part in educational and artistic activities, including making crafts, coloring flags and writing peace messages, to learn about empathy and helping those affected by war.
They later held a peaceful march on the center's grounds, chanting slogans in support of Yemeni children and calling for an end to the blockade.
The program concluded with prayers for the protection of children in Yemen, Palestine and other conflict zones, and for the establishment of peace and tranquility across the region.
