Doha Afghan conference boycotted by Taliban, ends without breakthrough

The two-day Doha conference on Afghanistan has ended without presence of the Taliban. The group boycotted the conference, which has been described as a political show by the US government ahead of the presidential election.

The Taliban said the government of Afghanistan cannot be coerced by anyone, in particular Washington and the European Union.
