  • If we hadn't killed the Japanese, future of world would have been full of war! Selected images on the anniversary of Hiroshima atomic massacre

Pars Today- 79 years ago, on this day, the city of Hiroshima in Japan was destroyed by the United States with an atomic bomb; A crime whose effects still remain.

On August 6, 1945, a US Army "B-29" bomber, on the orders of President Harry Truman, dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan. According to Pars Today, the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, nicknamed "Little Boy", killed thousands of people immediately and tens of thousands more by the end of that year.

At the time of the bombing, Hiroshima was home to 280 to 290 thousand civilians and 43 thousand soldiers; It is estimated that between 90,000 and 166,000 people died as a result of the explosion of this bomb in the four-month period after the explosion.

The US Department of Energy estimates that after five years, probably 200,000 people or more died as a result of this bombing, while Hiroshima city officials say 237,000 people were killed directly or indirectly due to the effects of the bomb, including burns and nuclear radiation and cancer.

Three days later, the United States dropped its second atomic bomb, nicknamed "Fat Man," on the city of Nagasaki, Japan.

According to Japanese officials, about 500,000 people died as a result of the US nuclear attacks on these two Japanese cities; Victims who were mostly civilians.

The nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan is the only case of the use of nuclear weapons in war. The United States has never apologized for using these bombs.

The behavior of the main media and famous historians of America towards the atomic bombing of Japan was to create strange narratives with the focus on introducing this action of America as useful.

According to their narrative, if America hadn't done this, the war would have continued and the world would have been plagued by more wars and killings. Of course, after World War II, America took on this responsibility and took action in various wars and wars, from Korea and Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, the Balkans and Latin America.

According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) published in 2023, currently 9 countries and governments, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea, and Israel, have "nuclear weapons".
