Pars Today - An Iranian user of the X social network, referring to the role of Western media in the developments in Syria, criticized their dual approach to the concept of freedom.

Elham Abedini, an Iranian user of the X social network, posted a picture of smoke and fire engulfing the Syrian capital, Damascus, on X platform, writing: This is Damascus, and Israel is bombing the Syrian capital.

According to Pars Today, Abedini added: These attacks are taking place while the Zionist regime continues to attack villages in southern Lebanon, despite the so-called "ceasefire", and has also targeted Gaza relentlessly.

Abedini further emphasized: This is what Western media call "freedom"!

It is worth noting that following the developments in Syria and the capture of Damascus by terrorists and armed opponents, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday the collapse of the 1974 border agreement between Syria and the Zionist regime in the Golan region, and ordered the buffer zone in the region to be brought under the control of this regime.

Following this action, media sources reported that the Zionist army had occupied parts of Syrian territory, and images of Zionist occupation forces infiltrating the Syrian province of Quneitra were released. Some media outlets reported that the Zionists had penetrated 14 kilometers into Syrian territory.
