Pars Today – The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament warned about Israel’s attempts to divide Islamic countries.

According to Pars Today, quoting Mehr News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, met and held talks with Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva, Switzerland.

In the meeting, Ghalibaf stressed that the Zionist regime will continue its aggression against Islamic countries and added: “They seek to fragment Islamic countries, and therefore, serious resistance against them is necessary.”

Ghalibaf emphasized the need for unity and cooperation among Islamic nations and said: “These countries must prevent the worsening of the situation in Gaza and Palestine; otherwise, the same scenario unfolding in Syria will be carried out, in turn, in other countries as well.”

He added: “Iran’s decisive response proved that the Zionists are vulnerable and can be defeated. This action breathed new life into the Islamic Ummah and gave it hope for the future.”

On Wednesday, the U.S. President claimed that “BRICS is our enemy.” Donald Trump, referring to India’s membership in BRICS, said:

“They are in BRICS, which is essentially a group of countries hostile to America. India is one of them. Believe it or not, they are part of that group too. This is an attack on the dollar, and we won’t allow anyone to attack the dollar.”

Trump, while threatening India over its BRICS membership, announced that starting August 1, a 25% tariff would be imposed on Indian imports.

He justified the decision by citing India’s trade surplus, high tariffs, and BRICS membership.
