Pars Today – The martyring of journalists in Gaza by the Zionist regime has sparked outrage among users of the social media platform X.

In the early hours of Monday, the Zionist regime’s military targeted a tent housing journalists near the main entrance of the Al-Shifa medical complex in Gaza City, martyring six journalists and camerapersons, including reporters from Al Jazeera.

This latest crime by the Zionist regime has drawn widespread condemnation on social media, with X users expressing their fury over the deliberate targeting of media personnel. Below, we take a look at some of the reactions highlighted by Pars Today.

Zionist regime's war on truth: Targeting journalists as a systematic policy

Mohammad Ali Abtahi, a political activist and X user, drew a parallel between the Israeli regime's killing of Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza and its 2023 attack on Iran's state broadcasting (IRIB) headquarters in Tehran.

In a post, Abtahi wrote: "The martyrdom of Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza is of the same nature as the attack on IRIB headquarters in Tehran. This action reveals the criminal essence of the Zionist regime and its war against truth-telling. In all wars worldwide, media enjoy immunity – but when it comes to Israel, all red lines are crossed."

Solidarity

Maha, a user on X, expressed solidarity with the journalists martyred in Gaza, writing:
"Journalists in Gaza sacrificed their lives to show the world the crimes of the Israeli regime. We will never forget them."

The urgent need to hold the Zionist regime accountable

Abu Hassan Ghaznavi, another X user, emphasized the necessity of punishing the Zionist regime, stating:
"The Zionist regime targets everyone—young and old, military and civilian, even doctors and journalists—yet no one holds them accountable or delivers justice."

Killing the truth

Dido, a social media activist on X, condemned the killing of journalists in Gaza as "the murder of truth itself."

"Anas al-Sharif and Muhammad al-Qreiqeh, Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza, stayed behind to document starvation and siege when nearly everyone else had been forced to flee. To martyr journalists is to murder the truth."
