Development of scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and China / The first China-Belgium container train departs via Kazakhstan

Pars Today - The Head of the Iranian Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization, referring to the brilliant and friendly history of Tehran-Beijing relations, emphasized the need to expand and accelerate scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

Hossein Rouzbahani, Head of the Iranian Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization, during the visit of Zhong Pingwu, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Iran, to the Tehran House of Technology and Innovation (i-Hit), stated: Iran and China have a deep history of scientific, technological, economic, and trade cooperation. The friendly relations between the two ancient civilizations of Iran and China will be the cornerstone of extensive future cooperation in the field of science and technology. According to Pars Today, citing the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Hossein Rouzbahani, referring to the recent trip of Hossein Afshin, Iran's Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, to China, said: During this trip, effective memoranda were signed with the Minister of Science and the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, which include important axes such as the development of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and the establishment of a joint laboratory network among member countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. Rouzbahani stressed: Iran has declared its full readiness to implement these memoranda and expedite their legalization process, and it is expected that with the swift signing of the joint cooperation document, the implementation of bilateral programs will commence. Referring to China's capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and Iran's progress in this arena, he said: The joint cooperation of the two countries in this field can yield valuable achievements at the regional and global levels. Furthermore, the launch of the laboratory network for member countries of the Belt and Road Initiative will be an effective step towards expanding scientific interactions at the international level.

First China-Belgium Container Train Departs via Kazakhstan Route

The first container train from Chengdu, China, destined for Antwerp, Belgium, departed via the Kazakhstan route. This train carried cold chain goods related to e-commerce. Azerbaijan's Trend News Agency, reporting this news, added: This special train was arranged for the company (Dynamic Parcel Distribution) by order of La Poste, France's national postal service company, and consists of 55 containers containing cross-border e-commerce goods and products requiring adherence to cold chain standards. After exiting China through the Altynkol checkpoint, the train will pass through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, and Germany.
