Pars Today – An American media outlet has reported that Trump has agreed to the sale of several thousand guided missiles to Ukraine, with European countries covering the cost.

The war in Ukraine continues, a conflict that has taken on increasingly complex dimensions due to Western interventions led by the United States through the delivery of military shipments to Kyiv. In this context, diplomatic efforts to end the war have remained fruitless since the very first months. According to Pars Today, citing the Mehr News Agency, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump administration has approved the sale of 3,350 ERAM guided missiles to Ukraine. The deal is worth $850 million, with European nations funding the purchase. Reports indicate these missiles are capable of striking targets at distances between 240 and 450 kilometers. The military shipment is expected to be delivered within the next six weeks.

Ukraine: Russia is deceiving America

On the other hand, Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, claimed there are no signs indicating that Putin is ready for meaningful negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. He stressed that Russia is attempting to deceive the United States, while Zelenskyy remains ready to discuss territorial issues starting from the current contact line.

Russian army announces control over two towns in eastern Ukraine

While Ukraine's deputy foreign minister reported Zelenskyy’s readiness to talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin about "territorial matters," Moscow announced it had seized control of two additional villages. Russia’s Ministry of Defense stated on Saturday that its forces had captured the villages of "Serdne" and "Kolban Bok" in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Kursk nuclear power plant in western Russia reported that a Ukrainian drone crash caused a fire at the facility, but firefighters successfully contained the blaze. No casualties were reported, and according to the Kursk nuclear plant, radioactive radiation levels remain unchanged and within normal limits.
