Pars Today – A French-Tunisian academic stated that the late Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, laid the foundation for the resistance strategy against U.S.-Israeli imperialism.
Emad Hamrouni, a university professor and international affairs expert, spoke about the personality of the late Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He said that this Iranian commander was able to mobilize revolutionary forces in the region and beyond to assist oppressed nations and help liberate them from U.S.-Israeli imperialism.
According to Pars Today, Hamrouni described General Soleimani as a “key figure in the resistance axis” and added that he knew how to confront Western military and intelligence forces and establish a resistance strategy that would powerfully advance the cause of freedom in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and especially occupied Palestine.
He emphasized that the late General Soleimani was a prominent figure in revolutionary Islam who, together with his comrades, was able to support the Islamic Republic of Iran in its early stages and later initiate the struggle to liberate al-Quds and Palestine.
The French-Tunisian academic also noted that the fight for al-Quds will continue until the ultimate goal is achieved—the imminent liberation of al-Quds.
He described General Soleimani as a person of high spiritual values, admired and respected by his comrades, the Iranian people, and revolutionaries around the world, and said: “He dedicated his life to Iran, the Iranian nation, Islam, and Palestine.”
Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), and eight others, was martyred on January 3, 2020, in an airstrike by U.S. forces at Baghdad Airport, Iraq.
