Pars Today – John Mearsheimer, an American international relations theorist, called the war against Iran the biggest disastrous mistake in the history of foreign policy and an absolute defeat for the United States.
According to Pars Today, John Mearsheimer, an American international relations theorist, said in an interview: “The U.S. war against Iran, surpassing the Iraq war, will be recorded as the biggest mistake in the history of U.S. foreign policy. Trump wants to end the war, but the only way to stop it is to surrender and admit defeat. There is no way we can salvage this situation.” He added: “The war against Iran is a massive catastrophe, so let’s make an agreement that benefits Iran.”
Meanwhile, according to a CNN report, about 80 percent of Americans blame U.S. President Donald Trump for the rise in gasoline prices. Also, based on a Washington Post–ABC News–Ipsos poll, Americans are broadly dissatisfied with their president regarding the war against Iran and other key issues.
