Pars Today – John Mearsheimer, professor of political science and international relations theorist, said that when the United States and Israel, despite launching full-scale airstrikes over 40 days, were unable to defeat Iran, no other power in the world would be able to do so either—making such an outcome effectively impossible.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, John Mearsheimer stated that the Israeli lobby had long promised regime change in Iran, but in reality, Iran remains firmly in place with strong resilience.
He added that the United Arab Emirates has cooperated with the United States and Israel in attacks against Iran and is moving toward war, but said these actors are “not in the same league” and would stand no chance alone against Iran.
John Mearsheimer further claimed that if the UAE enters a war, Iranians could easily target its desalination plants and energy infrastructure, potentially devastating the country, and urged the UAE to reach an immediate agreement with Iran.
