Schumer: Trump's Presidency a complete disaster

Pars Today – U.S. Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said President Donald Trump has completely lost the trust of the American people, describing his presidency as "a complete disaster."

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Schumer wrote in a post on X, referring to a CNN poll, that 72% of Americans oppose Trump's war against Iran, 79% disapprove of his handling of gasoline prices, 73% believe he has the wrong priorities, and 71% think he has not done enough to reduce the cost of living.

Schumer said Trump has completely lost the confidence of the American public, adding:

"When an overwhelming majority of Americans say you're taking the country in the wrong direction, it's time to change course."

The Senate Democratic leader also said that U.S. military forces in the region are facing repeated Iranian missile and drone attacks, adding that "spreading falsehoods and concealing casualties will not stop missiles from flying or keep U.S. troops out of danger."

He called for American forces to be brought home, saying:

"End the war."

In a separate post, Schumer said Trump had "spent two years betraying the interests of the American people" and asserted that U.S. voters would deliver their verdict in the November elections.
